The Play Like Lizzie Scholarship Fund was created to honor Elizabeth's love for the game — her commitment, her joy, and her team-first spirit. We support female soccer players who demonstrate love for soccer, strong character, and financial need, so that no girl has to stop playing because of money.

Soccer means so much to me because it is my favorite thing to do. I love soccer and I would play it every second of the day if I could. I play as a forward, and I love trying to score goals and help my team win games. Every day I go outside to the field by my house and practice with my friends because soccer makes me feel happy, strong, and confident. I enjoy learning new skills and getting better every time I play. When I grow up, I want to become a professional soccer player and play at a high level. My favorite team is the Orlando Pride because they inspire me to work hard and follow my dreams. My favorite players are Barbra Banda and Trinity Rodman because they are talented, strong, and never give up. They make me believe I can achieve my dreams too.
